details
Worked on this account as a Senior Art Director at Foote, Cone & Belding Direct West. Partnered with a copy writer and we decided to go with what is known as the iron cross format which would easily contain the disk and work as a self-mailer at a folded size 6" x 6" with five panels that open from the center forming a cross when opened fully. We also decided to go with a graphic type treatment throughout the piece to call out the various things one could do on the internet along with ten screen shots and a list of 14 of some of the most popular web sites at the time. We also emphasized how easy it was to get up and running with Netcom's service and offered the first month of service for only $5.
