Worked on this account as a Senior Art Director at Foote, Cone & Belding Direct West. Partnered with a copy writer and we decided to go with 5.25" x 5.75" self-mailer with a roll-fold and five panels, the last of which was a pocket that the CD and a small booklet with detailed directions fit into. We had budget to shoot, so we casted an average looking 25 - 35 year old male that we shot with a wide angle lense to make him pop off the page with the various looks we had him carry out as the photographer clicked away. The idea was to make Netcom the perfect internet access because "it is all about you, which we emphasized in the subheads and throughout the entire piece. We wanted it to be fun and inviting, while also communicating the many benefits and features that came with the service. We also emphasized how easy it was to get up and running with Netcom's service and offered the first month of service for only $5.
