As the state faced certain deregulation the Nevada Power Company was looking for a creative shop to develop a new advertising campaign to position the Nevada utility as Nevada's leading power provider. We came up with a two pronged campaign to target both businesses and consumers with print ads and outdoor boards that would cover the state but heavily focus on the markets of Las Vegas, Reno and Carson City. We came up with the tagline of "We've Got the Power" which we adapted to their brand and used as the headline in a print ad and an outdoor board that we envisioned would launch the campaign. We created an illustration with a map of Nevada and bordering states with a grid and then adjusted the color so that the state of Nevada pops off the map and in effect looks lit-up. The tagline also spoke to Left Coast Group's confidence in being more than capable of handling their business. We delivered a campaign of five full page print ads and five outdoor boards that we packaged neatly under Left Coast Group's brand. We were one of two finalists and almost landed the account.
